Race: Saturday, May 3. New This Year- Start time is 9:00AM. Beaver Island State Park, Grand Island, NY (between Buffalo and Niagara Falls). The course is flat, fast, out and back along the scenic Niagara river. Race fee includes chip timing, water, sports drinks, post race food, and beverages. For 2014, a portion of the proceeds will beneﬁt Westminster Economic Development (WEDI). WEDI is a non-profit organization focused on improving the lives of residents on the West Side by supporting entrepreneurs and small business development, training and education. Half Marathon: $45 early application fee (Canadian money at par) through
2/17/14, $55.00 from 2/18/14 to 5/2/14, $65.00 on race day until
close of registration at 8:45am.
10K: $25 through 5/2/14, $35 on race day until close of registration at 8:45am.
Runners may register online at www.active.com or at Fleet Feet Sports on Delaware Avenue, Buffalo. A paper application can be downloaded at the Registration page of this site. Race day registration at Beaver Island will close at 8:45am.
Race premium guaranteed to first 600 registered runners.

Half Marathon Time Limit:
Due to restrictions of keeping the course closed to traffic, runners must be to
the half-way point by 1 hour and 30 minutes. Runners not at the half way
point at that time will be picked up by sweep vehicle and driven to the finish line.
The overall male and female finishers, the top masters finishers and the top three in
each age division. For 2014, all half marathon finishers will receive a commemorative 20th anniversary medal.
0 – 19, 20 – 24, 25 – 29, 30 – 34, 35 – 39,40 – 44, 45 – 49, 50 – 54, 55 – 59,
60 – 64, 65 – 69, 70 – 74, 75 and up
Directions: Take the Beaver Island exit off the I-190. Follow signs to the park.
Free admission to the park for all runners and their families. Veer left
as you enter the park to access Area 1 for parking and pre/post race
activities at the River Side shelters, Marina North and South.
